The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is available for anyone preparing for major surgery, is seriously ill, or for medical emergencies. It is God’s promise in the midst of our serious physical difficulties.

The death of a loved one is a difficult and sacred time. The Church comes together in prayer to commend the deceased to God’s mercy and to offer comfort and hope to those who mourn. The parish community of St. Anthony Claret is here to support you and your family through every step of the funeral planning process.
First Steps After a Death
After the death of a loved one, please contact the parish office. If you are working with a funeral home, they may contact the parish on your behalf.

Scheduling the Funeral
- Funerals are typically celebrated on weekdays (Monday through Friday)
- Funeral Masses are usually held at either 10:00am or 11:00am
- Funerals are not celebrated on Saturdays, Sundays or Holy Days of Obligation
- The parish will coordinate the date and time with the family and funeral home
A Funeral Mass generally lasts about one hour.
A member of our Bereavement Team will meet with you to help plan the funeral liturgy and answer any questions you may have.

Programación del Funeral
- Los funerales generalmente se celebran los entre semana de lunes a viernes
- Las Misas Funerales normalmente se celebran a las 10:00am o 11:00am
- No se celebran funerales los sábado, domingos ni en los Días de Precepto
- La parroquia coordinará la fecha y la hora con la familia y la funeraria
Una Misa Funeral generalmente dura aproximadamente una hora.
