- The program’s mission is to form strong Catholic leaders in the form of missionary disciples.
- The catechesis structure of the HOSANNA program has three pillars which are the following:
- The Bible: The Living Word of God, Testimony of His Love
- The Church: The Pillar of Light, Road to Salvation
- Spirituality: Our Relationship with God, Our Answer to His Call
- The program provides continual faith formation through three class levels: Novicios, Adeptos and Decanos.
- Our existing program structure and curriculum have been fruitful, despite the few to no pre-existing Pos-Communion programs and material that we can base ourselves from.
Goal of the Post-Communion Program
The goal of the post-communion program is to continue the child’s faith formation after First Communion. It helps children deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith, grow in their relationship with God, and stay connected to parish life — rather than stopping religious education after receiving their first sacraments.
This program helps sustain engagement of the children and their families until they receive the sacrament of Confirmation.
El objetivo del programa de Post-Comunión es continuar la formación en la fe del niño después de la Primera Comunión. Este programa ayuda a los niños a profundizar en su comprensión de la fe católica, a crecer en su relación con Dios, y a mantenerse conectados con la vida parroquial, en lugar de detener su educación religiosa después de recibir sus primeros sacramentos.
Este programa busca mantener el compromiso y la participación de los niños y sus familias hasta que reciban el sacramento de la Confirmación.
